5 Step Sisters Vol. 2 Afterword

Afterword It’s been three months. I'm Harunadon. Thank you very much for purchasing "My 5 Stepsisters Vol.2". Following the first volume's "Chinatsu Rising," this volume's subtitle is "Fuka Starlight," making it an installment with the fourth daughter, Fuka, as the main character. This order was decided back during the planning phase, so I am relieved to have successfully finished writing it. Did Fuka's wholehearted cuteness reach your hearts? If everyone enjoyed reading it, that would be my greatest honor. By the way, regarding the subtitles, before the first volume was released, I requested, "I'd like them to be designed on the cover," but my editor told me, "If there's a subtitle, it will be really embarrassing if the series gets axed," which hit me right where it hurts, so I gave up. The Hand Reaching Far Away The following Saturday morning. Although the cultural festival's stage performance had come to a successful close, for Fuka, things weren't over yet. "Well then, I am heading out!" Under the gloomy sky of the approaching rainy season, Fuka showed a smile that seemed to blow away the humidity, waving as she set off with Natsuki-san. The second round of the audition started at 10:00 AM today. Although I really wanted to tag along, I also knew there was nothing I could do. From here on out, Fuka would have to rely on her own efforts. Seeing the two of them off at the entryway, we couldn't help but look at each other. Both Chinatsu and Mio had serious expressions, and I was probably much the same. Karin, who hadn't come to see them off, must have felt the exact same way. "It's not fair th...

The Song that Reaches the Stars Saturday, June 7th. The day of the cultural festival. The news had reported that the Tokai region was about to enter the rainy season, so I was worried, but thankfully it had been clear and sunny since morning. The opening ceremony in the gymnasium ended smoothly, and Class 2-A's "Imouto × Otouto Cafe" was about to open for its one day only run. The room was decorated with colorful balloons and paper ring garlands made of origami. Brightly colored fabrics were draped across the walls. The pushed-together tables were covered with tablecloths, which helped reduce the cheap feel. Even though most of the materials were bought at a 100-yen shop, thanks to everyone's hard work, the place had transformed into a space completely different from a regular classroom. Wearing an apron, I stared blankly at the gorgeously decorated room. Since two days ago, following what we had discussed beforehand, I had been working hard with the cooking club memb...
