I was sure our "outside collaborator," Kazura-san, was violating some school rule. I feel bad for the other students who are working so hard, but... having her with us doubles, maybe even triples, our hunting efficiency. If it's not a problem, I'm going to keep her around.

The White Slimes took three days to hit 1000 stones. The Blue Slimes, even with the party only being full for half a day, took one day. It seems it's just slimes all the way down. After consulting with Kazura-san...

...I got permission. On our next exploration day, we just pushed straight to the lower floors. We cleared Slime Floors 3 through 5 in a single day. We met the conditions for every single item available from slimes. Man, that first 1,000 from the White Slimes was such a grind...

...Yeah, there's a lot to unpack here. First of all, "Slime Leather"?! What's the point of "squishy leather"?! Can you even craft with it?!

Eh? That's not what you want to talk about? ...Yeah. I know. It's the "Metal Slime," isn't it? We ran into one on the fourth floor, even though they're supposed to be rare.

And let me tell you, that thing... Its attack is just "Body Slam," like a normal slime. But where a normal slime is like a "ball" hitting you, that thing is like a "cannonball." It's not quite fired from a cannon, but a direct hit would be fatal.

The level difference was huge. I was ready to die when it leaped... but Kazura-san, who was buffed with "Strong Arm," managed to take it out with a single "Bash"!!

...She did take it out, but the impact bent her 5th-floor-grade battle-ax at the hilt.

"Hauu?! Oh, n-n-n-noooooooooo!!"

"You've been saving that one for when your ax finally broke, haven't you?" It was a catastrophe beyond monetary value.
