The Drop Item is Rabbit Meat

Setting aside Atena, who's as fickle as they come, it still took three exploration days for me and Kazura-san to finish mapping all the zones on the first floor.

"And that's just warping to the entrance of each zone. This one floor has to be the size of a whole prefecture. Maybe not Hokkaido, but a small state, at least?"

"The first floor is about that big, yeah. But it gets wider as you go down to the second and third floors."

"Just getting to the lower floors must take forever..." Well, that's what the portal warp is for, but it's a function no one else has been able to use. Not to mention, the method to uncap your level also requires the portal, and even that's only possible because of my "Isekai Merchant" gift.

"This dungeon seems impossible to clear unless there are other people with gifts like mine who just haven't realized it."

"The fact that 'there's no way to realize it' is the nasty part. How did you figure out your ability, Big Brother?" Well, I'm from another world... I'll set aside the thoughts that won't get us anywhere.

The first floor had ten zones, A through J. Apparently, that structure doesn't change on lower floors. And each zone seems to stick to one monster type (barring irregularities).

While Kazura-san and I were off mapping, the other four—Shizuka and her group—were diligently farming B-Block. They were hunting "Horned Rabbits," or more accurately, "White Horned Rabbits (LV 1)." Since they're all Level 5 from the slime grind, they weren't struggling. In fact, they were crushing it, rampaging in what could only be called "God Mode."

It was probably a huge nuisance for the other students and rookies hunting nearby, but thanks to them, the 1000-stone items were unlocked by the time I regrouped. I'm grateful! (O-Of course, I'll pay you! Just wait a little longer!)

The newly added items were the White Horned Rabbit's drop: "Rabbit Meat," and the Skill Scroll: "Howling."

"Rabbit meat? What am I supposed to do with this?"

"Yuugiri-kun. Dungeon rabbit meat is a high-class ingredient, you know."

"I think it's about 5,000 yen per 100 grams. I've had it a few times... it tastes like incredibly delicious chicken. It's best wrapped in foil or stewed."

"Suddenly talking about cooking... What are you, a girl?"

"I am a girl, from every angle!"

Wait a minute. You probably forgot, since it was a while ago, but my Spatial Storage (Inventory) doesn't have time-stop or refrigeration. ...You see where this is going?

Who expects perishables to drop?! I haven't checked my inventory in nearly two weeks... and we've killed hundreds of rabbits. It definitely dropped. The meat. I checked. I had hundreds of kilos of it.

"Crap, what do I do with this?" There's only one thing to do: dump it. But if I just leave it here, the stench will cause a panic and I'll really be labeled a terrorist.

"Ah! That's it!" Trash disposal... slimes! If I dump it in the Blue Slime zone, the slimes will... maybe not eat it, but the dungeon will absorb it eventually!

"...I get a bad feeling when you get that 'I have an idea' look. You thought of something stupid, didn't you?"

"Yeah, I was just wondering how to dispose of all the bodies."

"What kind of psycho-killer crap are you talking about?!"

"Huh? No, no, no! The rabbit bodies!"

"Yuugiri-kun, running around killing massive amounts of rabbits is... psychopathic. But... I love you anyway." That's a boomerang that comes right back and hits you, Shizuka.

By the way, the rabbit meat I dumped wasn't even rotten. "What is this, preserved? Ah, maybe it's because bacteria can't grow in my inventory." Not that I'm going to eat meat that's been in there for who-knows-how-long. I dumped it all. Akiyoshi kept muttering "What a waste..." but you're not allowed to eat it off the floor, okay?

Ah, and the new skill—"Howling." It wasn't a "mass-produce screaming idiots" skill, as it turns out.

"Yuu-kun, can you hear me?"

"I could always hear you."

"Me too! I could hear you!"

"So that's what Hiesu-san's voice sounds like..."

"A clear voice, like a handbell..." The skill allowed everyone to hear Tiara-chan's "mosquito-high" voice for a few minutes.
