Rich Girl Caretaker Vol. 7 Prologue
Prologue
"Tomonari-kun, thanks for running that ad for us."
"Oh, no problem. Thank you for the contract."
During the break between classes, I was in the classroom discussing the Management Tournament with a female classmate.
The tournament news had repeatedly covered the takeover battle between Suminoe-san and me, as well as the subsequent capital partnership between Tomonari Gifts and WEDDING•NEEDS. As a result, my reputation on campus had risen to a level that surprised even me.
And this reputation was directly linked to trust.
Because of that, my business connections had steadily increased. Of course, I sometimes initiated contact, but more often than not, people were approaching me. The classmate I was just talking to had, in fact, been the one to propose running an ad on the Tomonari Gifts website.
I was in a state of smooth sailing—a "bonus time," so to speak. The company's growth during this period would likely determine the entire future of Tomonari Gifts.
"Tomonari-kun, can I ask you for some advice?"
"Advice? Sure..."
"I'm having some trouble between my partner companies..."
This time, it was a male classmate.
(...I've been getting a lot of these requests lately.)
I gave him my thoughts, smiling wryly to myself.
Probably because I'd fended off Suminoe-san's attack, everyone seemed to think I was an expert on M&A and strategic alliances. Honestly, though, I was worlds apart from Hinako or Tennouji-san. It always felt a bit complicated when people came to me... I'm still learning, too.
After hearing my opinion, the guy thanked me respectfully and returned to his seat.
The bell rang, and class began.
...Come to think of it, the regular tea party is today.
