Rich Girl Caretaker Vol. 9 Afterword
Afterword
Author: "I want to write an opponent awakening!"
Editor: "You're talking about a battle novel."
This conversation actually happened between me and my editor, and thus, Volume 9 of Rich Girl Caretaker is safely in the world!
It's been a while, readers. This is Yusaku Sakaishi. I hope you are all doing well. I caught COVID during the Obon holiday, got seriously ill, and my bronchial tubes have been feeling a bit off from the after-effects.
● Publication Gaps
When I was writing the Management Tournament, I felt there was too much I had to research, so I threw my hands up and yelled, "It's impossible to publish a volume every five months~~!" and asked my publisher to let me switch to every six months. Then, this election arc seems to have repeated that, so I've continued to ask my editor for six months or more. When I look at social media, I occasionally see worried comments like, "When is the next volume coming...?" I am truly sorry. In order to make the content more exciting, I need a little more time. My passion for writing Rich Girl Caretaker hasn't faded at all, so please rest assured.
● Thanks to Everyone Who Comments on Social Media
I sometimes read everyone's impressions on X (formerly Twitter) (I wonder how long I'll have to keep adding this note). I am ecstatic that people are willing to cheer on my clumsy work.
I casually retweet things, but this is really in the hope that readers will use my timeline as a sort of bulletin board. So, if you come to my timeline, you can see the thoughts of other readers as well. Please make use of it!
【Acknowledgements】
I received a great deal of help from many parties while writing this work. To my editor, thank you for advising me to carefully adjust Itsuki's position. To Miwabesakura-sensei, thank you for using the cover's maple leaves and the fold-out poster to meticulously express the world of this humble work.
Finally, to all the readers who purchased this book, I offer my deepest gratitude.
