The "Bath Episode" (Male Version) and "Developing a New Supplier."

So, Kazura-san. Level MAX, and the first person I've seen who didn't have "None" for skills, but instead had a "Tap [HERE]" display. ...Of course, I didn't actually tap it. I'm pretty sure if I'd tried anything weird, I would have been met with a "furious tsukkomi." A "forehead flick" followed by an "ax to the face" is not a joke.

And even she had "Class: None." At this point, I'm pretty sure people with "Classes" just don't exist in this world.

"Compared to her..."

I let out a sigh as I looked at my own status floating in the air. It's barely changed. The only difference is my Level went from 0 to 1, and my Combat Power went from 58 to 63. It's practically a rounding error.

No, I get it. Leveling up at all after just one day of killing... Mochi... is decent growth. By the way, I also Appraised the "Mochi." This is what showed up:

Rank 1 / Level 1 / Slime Type / Cloudy Slime

Just that one line. ...Yep. It's a slime. I knew it. Its official name is even "Slime."

But "Cloudy Slime"? That sounds... "cloudy" (with implications). I really don't want to touch that with my bare hands. Did someone... use it for... no, wait. There are no male Explorers in this world. And apparently, their "stuff" doesn't "burn" anyway.

Okay, that's not important right now! Time for today's battle results! First, the drops.

You probably know I have that weird "Auto-Collect Drops" skill. Well, apparently, its "features" include auto-collecting drops from monsters killed by my party members. Back in the dungeon, Kazura-san was getting suspicious.

"Look, I usually get one 'trash magic stone' every ten kills. I haven't gotten one today. Are you... doing something?"

She kept nagging me about it. When I took a "bathroom break" at lunch, I checked my inventory... and everything was in my "Spatial Storage." ...My bad for thinking she was nagging me.

The final count of "Trash Magic Stones" (Official name: Level 1 Magic Stone) was... 265. Huh? According to Kazura-san's "1-in-10" drop rate, that means we would have had to kill over 2,600 slimes. There is no way we hunted that many in six hours.

I mean, maybe Kazura-san could kill that many, but the spawn rate wouldn't keep up. In fact, the result of that stupid "Which one of us can kill more-SHOW!" competition she started was, at most, "just under 200 kills" combined.

"Hmm... does this mean..."

It's only one data point, but... Is it possible my "Blessing" is causing some kind of bug... or, rather, a "Good Luck" buff? As further proof, I also had 19 "Slime Lotions" in my inventory. (I checked online during my break) The drop rate for those is supposedly "less than 1-in-100." Yeah, the drop rate is definitely broken.

A 100% magic stone drop rate? Or maybe a 10x multiplier on all drops? And I get to steal all my party's items?

This is the kind of cheat skill that would make anyone else "take a running start" just to "punch me in the face." For anyone challenging a dungeon, this power alone guarantees success. ...But...

"There's another skill... and it looks just as broken..."

Its name is... "Magic Stone Shop"!!

"But you had that from the start!" you're probably thinking. Yeah, but when I tried it before, it just said, "No supplier available." Well, now... a new item has been added to the list!

Supplier: Slime Type ・ Cloudy Slime

...Of course, the only thing I can buy right now is "Slime Lotion (Cost: 5 Magic Stones)." I have no idea what the market rate for either of these is, so I don't know if this is a good deal or a total ripoff.

[Addendum] The next day, I checked. Trash Magic Stone (Sell Price): 200 Yen. Slime Lotion (Sell Price): 800 Yen.

...I'd make more money just selling the stones! This is a scam!

[Further Addendum] ...It would be a little while before someone discovered that mixing Slime Lotion with "a certain ingredient" created a product with amazing skin and hair benefits, causing the market price to skyrocket.

...Okay, I got sidetracked. Back to the main topic. Right, "Adding Suppliers"!

This is just a theory, since I only have one monster type... but it probably registers monsters that I have personally killed. And on the current product list, besides the "Slime Lotion," there are two other entries:

Cloudy Slime: 265 / 1000 Slime: 265 / 10000

The numbers "265" perfectly match the number of stones I got today. And they have names in front of them. ...This has to mean, "If you want the next item, get me this many magic stones." And it specifically means stones from "Cloudy Slimes."

Look, 1,000 is still realistic. At today's pace, that's just 3 more trips. Two weeks, tops. But 10,000... 10,000!! What is this, an old-school fast-food challenge commercial?! "One Million Sold!" ...No, wait, those are millions. The scale is way off! This will take me over five months!

Forcing me to stay in the same place, silently killing only slimes... that's not a grind, that's actual hell! ...Or... maybe... it's doable? I mean, I got 265 today with just two people. If I had a full party of six, the efficiency would go up... no, it'd go up, but probably not by that much. Our kill ratio today was 50 (me) to 150 (her), a 3-to-1 difference.

"And... she's only a temporary member..." She's already in a guild or clan or something. And she's Level-Max. If I ask a Level-Max Explorer, "Hey, could you please grind only slimes with me for five months?" I am 100% certain she would murder me. Especially since I can't even see any "merit" (benefit) in it for her.

...No, no, no! Why am I being so negative?! If I just kill other monsters, I'll probably unlock more useful items. This is... way better than my old isekai life, where I was just scraping by. Right?
